WCB Tournament Rules

• Tournaments are reserved for Warren County Bass members ONLY. A representative from each team must attend at least two club meetings per season.

• Members must have all club dues paid in full before being eligible to fish any tournament and must keep these dues current throughout the season.

• All boaters are required to carry $100,000 personal liability insurance on their boat. A copy of the policy must be given to club officers prior to fishing your first tournament, NO EXCEPTIONS!

• All state boating and fishing regulations must be followed. Boaters must comply with all state and local safety requirements, including hold a New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate.

• Teams must pay entry fee and have their live wells checked before launching their boat.

• All Boats must have an aerated livewell system

• All fish caught must be released back into lake after weigh in

• Only Largemouth/Smallmouth Bass will count, minimum length of 12”

• 5 Bass per boat, 2 people per boat, or solo

• No trolling or Fly fishing

• No Live or prepared bait can be used

• Artificial lures only with the exception of pork rind type trailers

• No culling of dead fish. .25lbs penalty per dead fish

• All culling must be done immediately on lake

• Only 1 rod per person may be used at any time

• There will be a 1lb penalty for each minute late to the weigh in

• 5 Minutes late will result in disqualification. You must be within 25 yards from the ramp

• All NJ Fish & Game laws and Coast Guard rules must be followed

• You must be 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult

• All protests will be decided at Tournament site by the president

• All fishing and landing of fish must be done from inside boat

• Winners will be determined on team’s total weight. Ties will split money

• Lunker ties will split lunker pay out

• All fish must be brought to scale in weigh-in bag filled with water

• Short fish brought to scale will result in 1lb penalty, and loss of that fish

• All livewells must be checked before you launch

• Late arrivals must check in with Frank after launch. Any fish caught before this check is done will need to be released.
